7 Major Changes I've Made.

I have recently changed 7 things, that I use to do, and/or no longer do. Each one of these changes has allowed me to see a major difference in my physical appeal. Get WardBody ready, and try to give 5 out of 7 a shot!

1. Dips

Would you believe that I just started doing dips ? I was always against doing them. However; doing so now - I can see a difference in my shoulders and the outline of my chest!  

2. Only Organic

I used to be an organic food lover, part-time ( funny ). But now, I only eat organic ONLY food. From coffee, honey, protein powder, vegetables, etc. Organic is simply the way to go!

3. No Dairy

You read correctly. For breakfast, I use to always add cheese to my omelette, then one day I noticed that I stopped eating cheese all together. I use to drink milk with my protein shake, and I notice that - when I switched to simply using water (not the same great taste as using milk.) my stomach thanked me from the high heavens. And although I enjoyed Chobani's Greek yogurt, I no longer indulge in it. Amazing results, as far as losing body fat I see. 

4. Increased Carbohydrates

Normally for breakfast, I would just have a Spinach omelette, with a side of turkey bacon. I have now added two slices of multi grain bread to that.  Also, when meal prepping every Sunday. I tend to have a brown Carb as the main source in my meal. Rather its pasta, bread, rice, tortilla wraps, etc. If looking to lose weight, I wouldn't follow this, however; I would not rule out carbs all together. Try not having carbs after 10am (I use to do this back in the day, it helped a lot. So much discipline you'll gain.)

5. Stretching

Everyday, twice a day. I stretch. When you workout 7 days a week. It's needed. Splits, body curls, cobra stretch, downward facing dog, the whole 9. One in the morning right before I head out to the gym, and right before I go to bed that night.

6. Added Vitamin C serum to Coconut Oil  

One day I had the thought of simply adding Vitamin C to coconut oil, for a better moisturizer for my skin. Think about it, If coconut oil keeps you feeling pretty moist, and vitamin C helps with even skin tone, why not add the two, together ? Because I started doing this, maybe a week ago. I will give it a month and circle back, and share an update. 

7.  Oil Pull

* Side Eyes *, That's how I felt when someone suggested that I do this. I thought it was something sexual. But later found out, it was a remedy. One of my followers on Instagram (@I.moss ) suggested that I try it out. I did, and I fell in love !!  

What is Oil Pull? 

Coconut oil pulling is one of the best ways to remove bacteria and promote healthy teeth and gums!

It has taken quite some time, but oil pulling has finally gained some popularity in the United States.

Used primarily in Ayurvedic medicine, oil pulling is a fantastic oral detoxification procedure that is simply done by swishing a tablespoon of oil (typically coconut oil, olive or sesame oil) in your mouth for 10-20 minutes.

Oil pulling works by cleaning (detoxifying) the oral cavity in a similar way that soap cleans dirty dishes. It literally sucks the dirt (toxins) out of your mouth and creates a clean, antiseptic oral environment that contributes to the proper flow of dental liquid that is needed to prevent cavities and disease.
