My Secret to Getting Abs!

 
 
 

The day has come where I let you in on how I managed to keep my abs visible, even after I devour all the junk food I know and love. lol

The sayings, "Abs are 10% exercise, and 80% what you eat!" and "Abs are made in the kitchen." are both very real!

What you eat, or don't, will determine how visible your abs appear.

Due to experimenting with my body I now know, if I consume too little or too many carbs, bye bye goes my abs—this is also true if I consume too much sugar or saturated fats ( cream, cheese, butter, other whole milk dairy products. As well as coconut oil and palm kernel oil, pizza, dairy desserts, and sausage). Overeating any of these things results in increased body fat, which then leads to my stubborn love handles. So, it becomes essential that I eat, only, what I NEED if you want to see and have abs.

Believe it, or not, we all have abs. The muscle is already there, however, for many, it's merely shredding the body fat to see them. With said, to lose weight, gain weight, lose that, gain this, you must be willing to experiment with your body. Eat things, don't eat things, fast for a month, eat nothing but eggs in the morning. See how your body responds to different foods and beverages. Maybe you aren't very active; perhaps you should cut down on carb intake. If you are very active, perhaps you should increase yours. Cut out meat, soda, rice or beans.

The moral here, you will not know what is, or what isn't for you until you start experimenting and find out how your body responds to certain things, for example:

2012 - This photo was taken at the very beginning of me losing weight. During this time I only ate Oatmeal. Morning, noon, and night. I did not know what else to eat. So Oatmeal was my go to. I did this for months.

2018 - This is me when I am intaking everything under the sun, but hitting the gym. Here I am eating meat, sugar, chips,    and alcohol (yes, I drink.)

No one can tell you what will work for your body, not even me, even after you read what I listed below on what I DO to gain visible abs. You'll need to figure out what works for you. It's up to you to find out!

PLANK OBLIQUE TWIST

3 Sets - 12 Reps

There you have it, seems pretty lite right? That’s because, again, these Ab exercise only make up the 10%. Further, please note that contracting and consistency is KEY! I hope this helps you, and remember experiment!
